Creature Profiles
Cyclops
Aware of their vulnerability to certain words or phrases, some cyclops have taken to using earplugs to prevent wily adventurers from avoiding combat.
Dornbeast
The Dornbeast has 69 eyes that can paralyse their prey. Once immobile,the victim ends up wrapped in sticky secretions that are notoriously difficult to escape.
Frobgoblin
Strange magical creatures, Frobgoblins are evil tricksters who like nothing more than to dismember adventurers at their leisure.
Hangman
Unemployed Hangmen wander the land looking for victims to lynch. Often found near trees with their noose already in position, they bash their adversaries senseless to make it easier to string them up.
Jackanape
Cavorting and cartwheeling around its intended victim, the Jackanape is a spindly humanoid creature with brightly-colored fur and a manic expression. They distract their prey with their antics, leaving time to attack with a jaw that dislocates and allows them to swallow a man whole.
Surmin
This large rodent has a foul breath and lice-ridden fur. Watch out for their droning attack cry.
Hopping Claw Monkey
These fast and aggressive little monkeys have huge claws which are often wildly out of proportion to their lithe bodies. They like to disembowel their victims.
Horror
These entities take the form of hideous skeletal creatures with distorted features and elongated limbs. They screech and claw at their victims with blood-encrusted broken nails.
