When it comes to RPGs, there is one thing that can really make or break the gamer’s gaming experience; the characters. While we’ve seen a couple of interesting characters in these games, only a few really enhance the experience and truly make the game what it is.
In this post, we take a closer look at some of the most memorable RPG characters of all time. Let’s get started!
Prince of Persia: Prince of Persia
First, we’ve got one of the oldies we’ve been playing ever since it was released. But our favorite release of the franchise (and character) has to be the 2003 Sands of Time where we could get a bit more under the skin of one of the most memorable gaming characters.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Who will ever be able to forget the talented Ms. Croft? Not only did the character play a huge role in the success of the Tomb Raider franchise, but Lara has become somewhat of an icon in the world of RPG.
Agent 47: Hitman
Even though Agent 47’s appearance has changed quite considerably since the first release of this iconic game, it has only improved the overall gaming experience. The storyline is intriguing with little gaps to learn more about this agent’s personality keeps players hooked.
Duke Nukem: Duke Nukem
The first time we met Duke was way back in 1991, and he’s been entertaining and kicking but ever since. If it wasn’t for all the action and Duke’s charming and hilarious cracks while doing what he has to do, the game certainly wouldn’t have been the same.
And that’s a wrap. Did we feature any of your favorite RPG characters? If not, feel free to let us know or give us some feedback on your experience on the games we have looked at here.
